Trump has been spouting conspiracy theories and creating an alternate universe all his life because that is who he is. He is really paranoid, and he has really unhinged ideas and he is a really hateful guy. Obama was born in Kenya. The Muslims danced in the streets on 9/11. No woman is telling the truth about being sexually assaulted. Trump is a paranoid conspiracy guy. He believes things that fit the narrative he wants to promote, then pushes it, trumpets it, tweets it and insists it is true against all odds and against all facts. The goal is to manipulate his base, to keep them riled up, feeling angry and aggrieved. This is just what Putin hired him to do.
What’s he up to now? Trump apologizes to Kavanaugh on behalf of the American people (while Dr. Ford can’t live in her house anymore because of the death threats she is still getting.) Trump says the Dems are an “angry mob” and we now hear that like an echo chamber throughout the GOP. Trump says Dr. Ford made up what she said. Instead of correcting him, Republicans repeat and underscore this garbage and act like mini-me Trumps repeating and amplifying whatever he spews.
Mc Connell, Lindsey Graham and other formerly sane Republicans are learning to do what Trump has always done. They are learning how to be miniature Trumps. Disgusting! And scary. Every one of them is saying the Dems are a “mob”. Right on cue. They have been bitten by the Vampire. They ARE vampires now.
This is the thinking that will take over our country if we do not get the House in 4 short weeks. The Republican Party has lost its soul, its moral compass and its damn mind.
We are on the verge of turning into a banana republic and an awful one at that.
Did you see the picture of that little two year-old child appearing in immigration court clutching his teddy bear, all alone, because he was taken from his parents at the border? People! What has happened to us?! I do not recognize this country!! We have to check this administration. We have to be a check and balance and push back on this administration!
